Artwork Submissions General Information
Starkweather Arts Center offers contemporary and traditional visual artists a venue to share their ideas with the community, through solo and group exhibitions. We seek to support emerging and established artists with a concise and mature artistic vision as evidenced by the clarity of their content and record of professional promise.
Artists’ work should be cohesive and consistent, while presenting their own unique perspective. We do give priority to local art groups and artists, as this is our mission statement: "To promote the arts and artists in the Romeo Community."
To submit your work for review, please use the Application Form provided below as a guideline of the information we require and our policies.
You may mail or email the needed information. Use the following email: starkweatherarts@comcast.net and put ATTENTION GALLERY in the subject line. Please include your resume, artist statement, images of your work and or links to appropriate websites showcasing your work. Emails and mailings will be forwarded to the Exhibition Committee for review.
